Most of all Bride to be dream to have a Destination wedding. While talking about destination wedding most of us imagine about international locations and a fairy tale wedding style. When Danielle and Jaison contacted us we were surprised... a foreigner couple dreaming about a traditional kerala wedding was a different experience to us. Yes Dani dreamed of a purely traditional hindhu wedding in our land and with her constant efforts and enthusiasm she made her dream come true. Dani,Jaison and their close family arrived a few days before the wedding . Meeting them all was a totally different experience to us. We got know a bunch of people who are so inspired by our culture and values. All those we take for granted or seems to be so silly to us were so important and inspiring to them. These people try to follow Hindhu traditions and culture to their maximum. Can’t forget to mention Astrud one of Dani’s close relatives, Astrud is a yoga instructor and hard core disciple of Hinduism she knows our culture and rituals more than what we know.
And now about the wedding ...wedding happened to be at a temple in Fort Cochin. The bride and groom was unremarkably beautiful in the traditional Kerala Kasavu costumes. Now a days a lot of marriages are happening where either the bride or the groom are from foreign land and they gracefully embrace our traditions for their wedding, but this was something very different.. both the bride and groom doesn’t have any roots in Kerala not even in India but still because of their respect and admiration they have for our culture they chose to tie knots in our Gods own country.
